CNMP
One of the Livestock System risk assessment tool is a Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plan (CNMP). A CNMP concentrates on production and conservation practices, equipment, structures, and management activities associated with animal production, from feed inputs to the use of animal manure and other organic by-products. Private CNMP providers, along with United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) staff, can assist farmers with the completion of CNMPs.
